It has been a while since I updated my blog. I've been very busy lately, but the time has arrived for a vacation or two or three. So I'm going to be having a lot of pictures to share.
First up was a weekend with Katie, Jake and Conner. It was great to be able to give them all hugs again.
The weather changes quickly in Colorado, so we had to take advantage of all situations. First, fall was in the air, and it sure was fun stopping at a park to enjoy the falling leaves.

Isn't he a cutie?!!
When the wind came up, a million leaves fell at once. Conner took it all in.
I'm introducing the cowboy to a horse.
More fall fun.
Katie even made a Thanksgiving dinner. I love sitting at a table with a little plate, because that means we are sharing it with a grandchild! Larry had to cancel at the last minute, due to work. The plate with the turkey leg was in his honor. (He and Jake love turkey legs.)
Then they had their first snow. I had to grab a camera when Conner stood in the window sill.
Question of the day, for those who have not been to the condo: How high off the ground is the window, and how did he get there?
Answer: It was fun reading your comments and guesses. We even got to hear from Conner's other grandma and great grandma. The window is 22 inches from the ground, but there is a window bench seat in front of it, which is 18 inches from the ground. So we all looked out the window, and Conner was lifted up to the seat to see also. He then inched himself to the window. Katie is actually standing right there with him. You can see the reflection of her t-shirt in the window.
This is the condo complex where they live. Click on picture to enlarge and see how beautiful the setting really is.
We began getting ready (checking out costumes) for the next holiday- Halloween. Check back then for more pictures.
